BADGE/NUGGAT: THE JUG OF ALE

BADGE formerly THE SPIDERS are the Rover car of the local music scene,it doesn't matter how many times you change the name,image,specifications,if a product is shit it still stinks.

Their dull Suede like songs have undergone a This Morning style makeover,two fat old ugly dinnerladies put into expensive frocks and smeared with makeup,so R&J and Nicki and whoever can tell them how much younger and lovelier they look while you and i at home ,shout abuse,christ they still look awful............

The music is ok ,Joe is a wasted drum talent but Steve s viking voice grates and the lyrics are puerile,did he really sing,"i ve got a rocket in my pocket".

NUGGAT have been around a while too,but they still smell ok,glorious pop tunes with 70 's ,80's and 90's beats(but no year 2000 yet) and melodies and good choons they are too.

Craig s come to terms with his clik track ,Gav s still the effects king of guitar and Margerat looks cool in her trendy seventies dress and sings better than ever.

Nuggat are good enough to be in anyones record collection with the stuff you pull out at parties,and if Elastica,Republica ,No Doubt,T PAU can all make squillions from pop music then so can NUGGAT .

They re not going to change your life but hey,DISCOS TAKING OVER THE WORLD,as NUGGAT will insist........
