Lived in Subaqwa's world for many a gig now and feel its time to stand up and say something,do they have the worlds worst record company/manager/promoter or are they just determined to go the long tortuous way around to  massive success.

Will they be Birmingham's Van Gogh or will someone stick them out on several long tours,promote their album and get them some press coverage.

Justin and the band were always pop stars but with time they ve become musicians,artists,performers who are very very clever at dropping and lifting tempos and atmosphere and tension.

"Let I Go" is a fabulously beautiful song that should at least  have topped the indie charts and "check your space" should fill the moshpit every week at Snobs  instead of "song 2" .

Subaqwa should be HUGE,MASSIVE,mentioned in the same creative  breath as BLUR,someone make it happen please......

SUBTEXT;SEPTEMBER 2000;I FINALLY GOT A COPY OF THE ALBUM TODAY.In my humble opinion,SUBAQWA are the only Midland band that really matter,they are real and their music is real,forget kinky dora(slade) or the twee rubbish or old fashioned rock that other bands are playing,get into this band and love them before they give up.Please do not do so lads,you are the best,just keep going until the rest of the country realise it.
